The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association in collaboration with the Bowers Museum and Jean Stern will be presenting a fun and informative Plein Air Experience.
LPAPA Signature Artists Quick Draw Paint Out

Come watch as LPAPA Signature Artists Rick J. Delanty, Mark Fehlman, Nita Harper, Jeff Horn, Greg LaRock, Calvin Liang, Lisa Mozzini-McDill, Michael Obermeyer, Anthony Salvo, Michael Situ, W. Jason Situ and Durre Waseem take over the Key Courtyard for a plein air Quick Draw paint out in support of Bowers Museum's California Bounty: Image and Identity, 1850-1930 exhibit! Paintings will be available for purchase through LPAPA with a portion of the proceeds going to support both LPAPA and the Bowers Museum. From Past to Present: The History of Plein Air

Join us in the Norma Kersha Auditorium at the Bowers Museum after the paint out for a special Art Talk presentation by Mr. Jean Stern, Director of The University of California, Irvine Institute and Museum for California Art. Mr. Stern will discuss the history of plein air painting from past to present with references to specific pieces in the California Bounty: Image and Identity, 1850-1930 exhibit.
