Liz Goldner is an art and cultural journalist, covering a broad range of subjects. She reports on artists—from figurative to conceptual, to Light and Space, to graffiti. She also writes articles on the merging of art with nature, of art with science, environmental art and California Scene Painting, among numerous other arts related topics. She derives great joy from dialoguing with artists, art lovers and arts administrators in interviews, on studio visits and at the many exhibitions she attends.

Living in Laguna Beach, she writes about art in Laguna, Southern California and nationwide for: Artillery magazine, Art and Cake, KCET Artbound, Orange Coast, Premiere OC, Visual Art Source, and other publications, in addition to the Art Patron magazines.

She has written for California Art Club, The Huffington Post, Los Angeles Review of Books, Orange County Register, Women in the Arts, and many other publications.

She is project manager/contributor for the book, “Laguna Canyon Project: Refining Artivism,” published in 2018 by Laguna Wilderness Press.

From May 2016 through June 2018, she won six First Place awards, and three Second Place awards for her art articles from the Orange County Press Club.
